High Altitude Training owner and head coach, Chris Harry knows what it takes to train for hard events. His list of achievements range from winning a 24 hour mountain bike race to running high altitude ultras including the Leadville Trail 100 and even earning the Leadville Leadman title.
Chris was an elite level licensed USA Cycling coach for many years prior to his 2017 relocation back to the east coast. He was also a licensed USA Triathlon coach working with regional triathletes at the same time.
He knows what the demands are of working full time and trying to fit training into your everyday life. While holding a professional racing license he also worked full time in an engineering office environment while continually training full time and racing as much as possible.
He has raced and trained on both the East and West coasts as well as extensively in the Rocky Mountains. He has over 25 years experience in training and racing.
Coach Chris was also instrumental in starting and developing the Team Evergreen Racing team, which at one time had over 130 racers and served as the team's race director for several years. The team was the largest and one of the most successful racing teams in Colorado.
These days Chris doesn't race anymore, but as the coach he continues to stay current with the ever-changing and newest training programs, equipment and nutritional needs for the elite cyclist, triathlete and endurance athlete.
